The 2030 EU Agenda on rare diseases
The objective of this session is to discuss the unmet needs and possible strategies to improve care of patients with rare lung diseases in Europe. Emphasis will be given to European Reference Networks (ERNs) and their crucial role in implementing cross border healthcare care, research and educational networking. An overview on ongoing research calls and projects in rare lung diseases will also be provided.
Cross border care will be the centre of the debate, but attention to registries, biobanks and research collaborations will be emphasised. A putative 10 years agenda on rare lung diseases in Europe will be discussed.
Short input presentations followed by a moderated audience debate together with a panel discussion.
