UPDATE REGARDING THE 2020 IPF PATIENT SUMMIT
Dear Delegates,
EU-IPFF has been closely monitoring the Coronavirus situation and, after carefully considering the advice provided by the World Health Organization and other health authorities, we have made the difficult, but necessary decision to postpone the European IPF Patient Summit (date TBD). This choice was made with the full support of our sponsors, partners and the members of our expert Scientific Advisory Board.
We must prioritise the safety of patients and other participants at the Summit and help ensure the healthcare professionals we work with remain in their hospitals, where they are needed.
We will announce the new date of the Summit in good time for all delegates to make appropriate arrangements. Even though the Summit won’t take place as originally scheduled, EU-IPFF is planning to keep some activities online. Further updates about these will be provided as soon as possible.
We are sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
A Q&A of the most frequently asked questions has been made available – see the below link. If you have any questions, please let us know and we will do our best to address any questions or concerns.
Kind regards,
Liam Galvin
EU-IPFF Secretary
About the summit
Join the conversation and be a part of something big.
Join us for the first European IPF Patient Summit on idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and interstitial lung diseases (ILDs). We will bring together patient groups, healthcare professionals and industry representatives to discuss research, person-centred care, policy and advocacy for IPF and ILDs. Patient-centricity is our priority. By moving beyond the traditional conference, we have put patients in the driving seat, in order to inspire greater alignment, shared objectives and truly meaningful meetings with high impact between patients, leading healthcare professionals and industry representatives.
